Description

ICRs are introverted, independent types who love a challenge and solving problems but tend to play by the rules and follow convention to solve such problems. The ICR type is more oriented toward working independently than in group settings. Their joy comes more from being a self-starter and forming their approach to problems on their own than from consulting with others. ICRs make attempts to be by themselves not because they are anti-social but rather because this helps them develop their ideas and get their work done.

ICRs are stimulated at work by learning and finding novel ways to solve problems more so than by achieving status. They need to feel like their work presents a challenge that they can help solve since this is their primary source of work satisfaction. ICRs may not achieve high status or leadership positions but this is not their primary motivation. However, if given a lot of independence it is not uncommon for ICRs to develop original and highly valuable ideas which solve important problems.

ICRs are responsible and reliable types that respect rank and rules. They often set an example for others by teaching others the knowledge and conventions of their field. They are not big risk takers by nature but do enjoy accomplishing goals by following existing standards.
