Description

GCRs tend to be extroverted, creative types who balance their love of exploring new things with being very responsible and reliable. GCRs have a tendency to choose group settings over working alone which reflects their extroverted nature. They enjoy the social aspects of their work and the feeling of belonging they get from being in a group even though working independently may be difficult or unrewarding for them.

A GCR’s source of motivation for their work comes more from the challenge of new discovery and creative solutions for problems than from climbing the corporate ladder or impressing others. The challenge with this though is that they may find it harder to move upward during the course of their careers.

While GCRs are the creative and explorer type, rules are still important to them. They appreciate structure and order, and have a lot of respect for authoritative data and authority figures. Because of this, they might find it harder to take risks when those risks mean rebelling against the norm.
