RIAs are realistic, down to earth people who are very curious and investigative, and enjoy work that allows them to be creative, original, and expressive.

R I C

Realistic—Investigative—Conventional

RICs are practical doers who take the lead through being investigative and observing and prefer to work in a structured, traditional, 'play by the rules' type of way.

R E A

Realistic—Enterprising—Artistic

The REA type is a realistic problem-solver who enjoys adventure and creativity.

R E C

Realistic—Enterprising—Conventional

RECs are realistic, practical doers who tend to be competitive leaders and accomplish their goals through following the existing structure and traditions of their fields.

S I A

Social—Investigative—Artistic

The SIA type takes action through relationship-building, likes to research and observe, and likes to create original work that allows them to be expressive and innovative.

S I C

Social—Investigative—Conventional

The SIC type is social, helpful, and often enjoys teaching others. They are critical thinkers who tend to be conventional in their approaches to work.

Social—Enterprising—Artistic

The SEA type is generally helpful and a teacher for others who have a love of adventure, risk, and working with few boundaries.
