Behaviors - EST

E S T

Description

ESTs are extroverted, pragmatic people who base their decisions on logic and reason. They are social people who enjoy conversing with coworkers and bouncing ideas off of others. They feel more alive and energetic when they’re able to spend time with others and prefer this to spending time alone.

ESTs see and make sense of the world through observable facts and data. They like concrete, clear, and practical ideas over abstract theoretical ideas. Their behaviors reflect this preference, as they’re more likely to be found collecting factual data and making observations in the present moment than theorizing about what 'could be' and envisioning the future.

ESTs value decision-making based on critical thinking and weigh logical consequences more so than consideration of the people involved and how their decisions will make them feel. ESTs tend to approach the process of making decisions armed with skepticism which leads them to question various factors and outcomes before making a final call.
